Prevailing in Prayer

In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus Christ modeled for His followers a pattern of prevailing in prayer. Indeed, His anguished words of trust show us that prayer is not meant to change the heart and mind of God, but to keep us focused on His sovereign will for us. May we then prevail in our prayers as He did.
